The Political Herds is based upon J. G. Fox’s earlier work ‘The Political Landscape’, which was displayed at the London Art Biennale 2023, and won the International Confederation of Art Critics Award.
He has replaced the historical figures with beautifully done sketches of today’s manifold political herds and micro-groupings — the kinds that UnHerd tries to understand and document every day but not join — in stunning detail. It’s witty, attractive and something that our members never fail to linger over and enjoy.
Alongside the Communists and the Postmodernists, you’ll find the corporate media, the cancelled, BLM, the TERFs, the universities, the Clown World guys and many others. The groups seem to be moving ever-upwards, but not really getting anywhere, which feels accurate.
We have been so inundated by requests, we have persuaded the artist to create two limited edition Giclée fine art print editions — each hand-finished on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, signed, stamped and with a certificate of authenticity.
Prints are sold in series, first come, first serve, so please order early for a lower edition number.
Unframed prints are shipped rolled for the smaller size. An option for framing is also available, making the smaller size 28" x 28" when framed.
